The Sectrio Edgetech Appliance (“Edgetech”) is deployed in network segments that need to be discovered and monitored. The Edgetech appliance is typically deployed on the network switch via a SPAN port. The appliance has two network interfaces, one for accepting the SPAN port traffic and another for the management interface. Edgetechs connect to a Hub via the management interface.
