How Sectrio helped secure the entire OT and IIoT-convergence for a large entity
Sectrio helped a large manufacturer secure its IIoT systems along with their OT infrastructure. Sectrio was selected for the project which involved a phased transition to IIoT. As part of the project, Sectrio completed a risk assessment and gap analysis exercise to identify the present state of security, IEC 62443 security level, vulnerabilities, and identify issues concerning OT and IIoT systems.
Project outcomes include:
- Secure IIoT and readiness for further augmentation of the IIoT footprint
- Mitigation of all risks identified during the assessment
- Compensatory controls were deployed for a few devices that had some inherent security challenges
- Improved compliance reporting
- IEC 62443 security level upgrade
