North Korea’s hacking organization Cryptocurrency collapse… back to the bank

According to the global threat landscape 2022 report, a North Korean hacking organization was caught trying to hack a bank after the cryptocurrency crashed. For the past two years, they have been targeting cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain-based video game companies, and individuals with non-fungible tokens (NFTs). In the report, Sectrio said, “As the cryptocurrency market shows signs of collapse, anomalous cyber activities (by North Korean hacking organizations) against traditional financial systems such as banks are increasing overall.
